I’m so excited to introduce my NEW Cuddles the Hexi Bear Rug Quilting Pattern! As you can see, my best friend Buddy has already claimed his spot on the rug…his big doggy smile just melts my heart.
This modern quilting design will make a nice addition to any home. You can even use it as a wall hanging to decorate your craft room.
About The Pattern:
Cuddles the Hexi Bear is a hexagon shaped log cabin design with curved edges.
This pattern is in PDF format with Instant Download. It is written using imperial system (US terms), including step-by-step images, quilting diagrams, and printable templates. You will need a printer and Adobe Acrobat Reader (free software) to be able to print the templates correctly.
SKILLS: Sewing with a 1/4″ seam allowance, log cabin piecing, using printable templates, cutting 60 degree shapes, free motion quilting or walking foot quilting, bias binding for scalloped edges.
To make a gray bear, I used Lily & Loom Over the Moon 2-1⁄2” fabric strips. There are 40 pieces of dark and light gray fabrics in the roll; you can use them for the head, muzzle, and eyes. The nose is made from the matching Lily & Loom Farmer’s Market fabric.
You can also cut your own strips, or use fabric scraps, or even upcycle your old jeans.
